Rescue at Height - 16 Hour - Corvus Rescue

Patient access is paramount when dealing with an injured and stranded person at height, when significant injury or death can result from extended suspension on a fall arrest system. In this course we will focus on the timely and efficient techniques critical for a successful operation, including:
-Establish operating procedures
-Perform a site hazard analysis
-Utilize fall protection systems for patient access
-Select appropriate patient packaging systems
-Rig rope systems for patient access and removal in both vertical and horizontal planes.
Students will be challenged through a series of increasingly complex scenarios at heights up to 80’
